Our EFTPOS supplier is Windcave. Occasionally we have the following issues
Windcave will have network issues - there is nothing we can do until they bring it back up again. In this instance we have to go cash only and anyone already drinking or dining we will need to take their contact details - Name, Email address and Mobile Number at a minimum. It is worth checking with other venues in the group to see if they are having issues too, if they are you know its a Windcave network issue. If they are not getting the same issues then call Windcave on 0800 729 6368 or email support@windcave.com
The EFTPOS hardware is broken or not working as it should sometimes due to liquid damage - Please call Windcave, Stridey cannot help in this instance and the Windcave will require certain information off the unit to run through some steps. If a machine is broken or not working we need to ensure that it is fixed. Do not put this machine aside for another day that you never get to. We pay a rental charge on these machines and we expect them to be working.
